Advertise on BabyWebNZ
BabyWebNZ acts as a directory to websites that I as a Mother, Midwife and Childbirth Educator have found helpful.
The people who will be looking at BabyWebNZ will be mostly interested in pregnancy, birth, babies and parenting. If this is the target market group that you wish to reach then advertising on BabyWebNZ could benefit your company.
From my research, similar sites overseas have become very popular. One such site in Australia is getting on average 1.5 million hits per month.
As BabyWebNZ is a new site I plan to invest time and money into making it more consumer friendly, adding more web sites and marketing the site.
I have employed TechTime Initiative Group Limited, an IT solutions company to assist me.
Domain Name placementTo have your domain name placed on BabyWebNZ please fill in the Request Listing form and include a short site description (80 words or less), and suggest which two pages you would like the site added to. You can attach a 150x150 pixels image/photo with your listing. Non-profit health promotion organisations or Charitable Children's Trusts, and Midwives on the Find a Midwife page, will have their listings added for free. Profit organisations and Business listings are added at a cost.
If I think it is appropriate I will add your domain name for a cost of NZ$25 per year. Listing with a 150x150 pixels picture displayed next to the text is a total of $40 per year If have already paid for the word listing and wish to add a picture the cost is $15.

Two ads for the price of one
Book a standard (180x150) or tall (180x300) banner and receive another at the same size, on another directory page for free. Book a directory page (728x90) banner and receive two standard banners for free.
Our Standard Banner Dimensions Are
180 pixels wide by 150 pixels high (see image below)
180 pixels wide by 300 pixels high (see image below) displayed on the right hand side of the pages for Pregnancy, Childbirth, Baby, Breastfeeding, Health, Parenting, Support Services and the Shopping and Equipment Directory Pages.
Banner ad on the top of each Directory Page is 728 pixels wide by 90 pixels high (see the top of the page)

Non-profit health promotion organisations or Charitable Children's Trusts can have their logo on BabyWebNZ for free.
Ads are booked on a first come first served basis.

No responsibility will be taken for the quality of your advertisement if it requires cropping to fit within the specified space. (We will, however, do our best to notify you if your advertisement requires cropping and give you the opportunity to make the necessary amendments first.) Don't Have a Banner Ad - Let Us Design One For You!
You can advertise your products or services through BabyWebNZ even if you do not have a web site, by having a banner ad with you contact details, please see advertising prices above. A banner ad can be designed for you at a cost, by TechTime Initiative Group, my IT services provider. Fill Banner Request form here to contact them.
This means you can market yourself through the web without the additional costs of designing and maintaining a website.
Invoicing and Payment
An invoice will be generated upon booking of your banner advertisement.
Banner advertisements will only be placed following full payment of invoice.
Renewal invoices will be sent no later than 7 days prior to renewal date. Payment is due within 7 days from date of invoice. If renewal payment is not received by the due date, the banner advertisement will be removed.
The Wellington BabyWebNZ Guide Book
Advertise in a Guide Book that parents will keep.
Magazines are often thrown out after reading them once, but a guide book provides information that people will continue to refer to.
Background
BabyWebNZ Wellington Guide Book acts as a directory to Baby friendly places and activities throughout Wellington. from antenatal and swimming classes to childcare facilities, parents rooms, cafes and entertainment.
The information contained within the book are taken straight from the Baby Friendly pages on the web site www.babywebnz.org a free New Zealand owned and operated information directory created by a Mum, Midwife and Childbirth Educator.
The guide book is supported by the Wellington City Council.
Circulation
The book is a free publication and will be distributed to parent based organisations.
1000 copies are planned for printing and distribution each year.

Format
The book is in A5 booklet format printed in black and white - with the view to adding colour advertisement in future publications.
There are three sizes of advertisement spaces available: full page, half page and quarter page as per the dimensions below:

If you already have a banner advertisement on www.babywebnz.org or book one at the same time as you book an advertisement in the BabyWebNZ Wellington Guide Book then you will receive a 10% discount on the total cost. If you belong to Mumz Biz you can also claim a 10% discount.

Please supply advertisement in any of the following formats: JPG, PDF or BMP.
If you do not have a banner advertisement that fits within our specifications, we can create one for you. This will however, incur an additional one-off charge.
Invoicing and Payment
